How are our GUARDIAN RFID Sensors setup?

Your GUARDIAN RFID Sensors are fully customized, setup, and activated by GUARDIAN, then shipped to your facility for mounting.

During your Kick-Off meeting and Pre-Training meetings, your GUARDIAN support team will understand your business processes and requirements, and customize your RFID Sensors based on your facility's goals and objectives.

Additionally, you can always add or change your use of GUARDIAN RFID Sensors at anytime. This is a complimentary service GUARDIAN provides to all customers.

How can we use our GUARDIAN RFID Sensors?

You can use your RFID Sensors to log hourly perimeter checks, cell checks, and maintenance tasks ( GUARDIAN Facilities Manager), as well as to identify offender(s) by name for headcounts, for example. RFID Sensors can be mounted and configured any number of ways (see the illustration below):

- Immediately outside each cell/room
- Strategically throughout a housing unit (pod, cellblock, etc.)
- In hallways, corridors, control rooms, utility rooms, etc.
- In fire extinguisher cabinets, SCBA cabinets, locker rooms, sallyports, etc.

What is the read range of a GUARDIAN RFID Sensor?

GUARDIAN RFID Sensors provide a maximum read range of 2". The read range is completely wireless and intentionally short to maximize your compliance and defensibility.

What type of product guarantee is provided for our RFID Sensors?

GUARDIAN provides a lifetime guarantee against defects, malfunctions, and intentional abuse. Each RFID Sensor is shatter-proof and tamper-proof. If any RFID sensor fails at anytime, GUARDIAN will replace your defective sensor at no charge and ship a replacement unit ready out-of-the-box.
